I have started shifting from cold porcelain to air dry clay. The reason? It's less hassle. Although it costs a bit more, I find it easier to use. Here are the things I've experienced using air dry clay:
Pros:
- It doesn't smell.
- It dries quickly.
- It doesn't shrink.
- It is easier to manipulate.
- It lasts longer.
Cons:
- It's more expensive compared to the homemade cold porcelain.
- You can purchase it online.
Am I going to stick with air dry clay? Yes, especially that I'm planning to try creating bigger projects. Here are some of my creations using air dry clay:
